Younger Classes: Leotard and tights encouraged. Dance skirts, shorts, costume leos and stretchy street clothes are permitted. Hair should be pulled away from the face. Appropriate shoes encouraged (ballet shoes, tap shoes etc)

Age 6+ Ballet: Modest leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Dance skirts, shorts, form-fitting shirts/sweaters, and warm-ups may be worn in moderation. 

Age 6+ Modern/Tap/Jazz/Irish/Contemporary: Same as ballet, with the addition of black or tan tights. Black jazz shoes or dance sneakers for jazz and irish step. Black tap shoes for tap. Bare feet, dance paws, Blochsox or grippie socks for modern, contemporary, lyrical, and musical theater.

For all classes:

-Try to arrive early to class to socialize and warm up

-No cell phones in class

-Hair should be pulled away from face, and for older dancers, secured in a bun or barrette

-No gum

-No bulky jewelry

-Only water in the dance studio

-No street shoes on the dance floor

-Please change in the bathrooms (not waiting area)

-For ages 6+, always try to go to the bathroom before class, even when they "don't need to go"

-Please keep voices to a whisper in the open waiting area of studio I when a class is in session. Normal voices are fine in the waiting area with the door off of studio II.

-Treat everyone how you would want to be treated.

-Leave the space better than you found it (we all help clean up).

For performances:

We typically expect each family to provide the correct color of tights and shoes for each class, a nude leotard, and do basic hair and makeup. We have a storeroom of costumes that we are able to provide for most classes. Any additional purchases required are kept to a bare minimum.
